DanoEF – High Tech Soul

Okay, so when you were racing bikes and playing hide-and-go-seek, Dano EF was making electronic circuits from scratch like some mad scientist in his basement. He was 15 when he made his own wave table synthesizer. He’s been high tech just like his namesake, since he was a lad. He’s evolved so much from that 15 year old boy and got so good he did a monitor mix for Prince in Munich.
When you hear Dano EF, you know its Dano EF. This parade of sound hits you, it doesn’t overwhelm you all at once but he has a synchronized build up that pulls a listener in—before you know it your entire body is involved.
His HighTechSoul brand is a blend of tech house, deep house, indie dance and breaks. You’ll taste a funky, soulful vibe. Dano EF takes you back to plat forms and bellbottoms while bringing you forth to the soul of a new era, into a modern and sophisticated, high class and mature, authoritative, sound art. Dano EF is literally painting with the synthesizer. More than 15 years of experience in music production and reproduction will give a person that sort of skill.
Dano EF is from Munich, Germany where he studied Jazz and worked as a Sound Engineer. After years of deep study and training at TV companies, movie and music production studios and sound engineering companies Malaysia was next. In 2012, Dano EF made his move to Malaysia where he is now DJing out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and staking his claim across events and clubs with his distinct sound, while integrating his musical tastes with that of the local and international DJ’s and artists.
Up until today Dano EF has played more than 150 gigs in Europe and South East Asia, producing his own originals. He’s done Television shows and concerts included but not limited to Maceo Parker and Stereo MCs.
He’s gone from his first ever DJing gig at Tilt Club to Enemy Mine and the Munich Airport Rave to owning one of the most popular clubs in Munich where Dano EF and a business partner hosted internationally renowned acts like Gebrüder Teichmann, Abe Duke, Cio d’Or and Frankie Knuckles.
Having played in Munich, Leipzig, Manila, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, developing a keen ear for a variety of electronic music genres and the Jazz saxophone, Dano EF became more than knowledgeable in music theory and technology. His career having skyrocketed with his intense base of musical gusto he found himself involved in copious esteemed projects, directing and producing promotional music for EADS, Siemens and Infineon.
When Dano EF isn’t spinning jams and regulating on the mixers, he does martial arts, rides his Ducati Monster, does graphic design and catches up on his travels adding to the list of more than 25 countries he’s visited.
